NOTE: Text for this section is being updated.

With all that schools face today:

What if there were a way to help every student succeed?

What if educators could connect with every child - even reaching kids with challenging behaviors?

What if teachers understood the neurobiology shaping children's behavior and could combine that knowledge with simple tools to settle classes and help every child focus better?

What if every child could be ready to learn?

Trauma First Aide™ offers these possibilities!

TFA teaches how nervous systems react to stress and trauma. Kids and adults alike can easily learn TFA skills. TFA shows how to regulate one's own body and behavior and be more resilient.

Santa Fe, New Mexico's public schools have seen remarkable results with TFA. In two years, more than 200 counselors, nurses and administrators, teachers and social workers have had TFA training. This comprehensive approach is empowering every child and adult, improving classroom management and enhancing the capacity to learn.

Kyle Elementary in Kyle, Texas is implementing TFA school-wide with astounding results in time savings for teachers in the classroom, better student preparation for testing, smooth academic transitions for students and teachers, and greater ability for counselors and nurses to help students settle quickly in stressful situations.

TFA skills are effective and easy to use as a classroom management tool, to support teacher and student self-care, to enhance capacity to focus and learn, to develop and increase resilience, and to work with traumatic and stressful situations.

Click on the video to hear teachers, administrators, counselors, teacher specialists, and nurses from the schools talk about their experience using TFA.
